There’s lots of talk in the news about ‘carbon emissions targets’, Zero Carbon by 2050’, ‘electrification’ etc, but what does this really mean for the heating industry?

We have made a video that explains more about how the use of hydrogen to replace natural gas in the gas network could play a significant part in decarbonising heating in the future. Watch it here.
With around 85% of existing homes connected to the gas grid, hydrogen could be a good way of treating a large proportion of homes. We also believe that heat networks will be suitable for dense urban environments (tower blocks etc) and electrification of heat, such as using heat pumps, for highly insulated newly built properties.
